Starting in the 2009 season, we actually started caring about our website looking modern. Before, it was just a infrequently updated 1990's looking site with poor graphics, flash animation, and half finished pages that looked completely different from the home page. Below is our site in 2006 (less the graphics)

Anyway, the current webmaster, Patrick Plenefisch, tossed up a much more modern (at least compared to before) site with a simple database back end just in time for the 2009 season, and we got our first ever website excellence award. During the spring and summer of 09, he worked hard to improve the back end content management system (CMS) significantly, so anyone could easily edit the pages in our custom page editor, and extending the website would be easy. There was barely enough time to push it to the website in time for the 2010 season, and we still had the 2009 interface, which was fast becoming disgusting, but apparently it was enough to wow the judges at Pittsburgh, for we won the website award there!

During 2010's summer, work began on a new site design using modern HTML5 and CSS3 that nicely downgraded in other browsers *cough*IE*cough*, and finished out 2010 with a new page editor that edited pages and news posts inline, so I typed this exactly as you will see it.

2011 also brought a few other HTML5 additions, a drag and drop photo uploader, and a graphical email list archive to name a few
